PEJ has officially notified the European Commission regarding its investment project.

This notification fulfills the obligations stipulated in the Euratom Treaty.

The notification of the investment project by the investor under the Euratom Treaty is distinct from the State aid notification procedure. The Euratom Treaty notification is a legal requirement for nuclear projects within EU member States. Its purpose is to enable the European Commission to assess a project's compliance with the objectives of the treaty, particularly regarding safety, technical and economic aspects.
